How to recursively call an API util a condition is met?

Hi,

I want to recursively call an API until the server returns 0.

      Callback<OldMusic> callback = new Callback<OldMusic>() {
                @Override
                public void onResponse(Call<OldMusic> call, Response<OldMusic> response) {
                    switch (response.code()) {
                        case ServerResponse.Code.SUCCESS:

                            OldMusic music= response.body();
                            String nextUrl = music.getData.getNextURL();

                            if (music.getMusic() != null) {
                                Thread thread = new Thread(new Runnable() {
                                    @Override
                                    public void run() {
                             // do something 
                                    }
                                });

                                thread.start();
// again fetch another api on the basis of response from server. until next url is null or ""
                                if (nextUrl != null && !nextUrl.trim().isEmpty()) {
                                    musicService.getOldMusic(this, nextUrl);
                                }
                            }
                            break;

                        default:
                            break;
                    }
                }

                @Override
                public void onFailure(Call<OldMusic> call, Throwable t) {
                 
                }
            };

This is what I am trying to achieve :
Initially, Api A will get hit and on the basis of the response from Api A,  Api B will get hit.   Api A and Api B response is the same.
