Hi,

I deployed josso with apache-tomcat-8.5.56. I also made some changes in the web.xml file of tomcat (tomcat/webapps/examples/WEB-INF/web.xml) as per the guide for installing JOSSO 1.8.
However after making changes in web.xml, adding the files login-redirect.jsp & partner-login.jsp in tomcat/webapps/examples and editing josso-agent-config.xml, I started tomcat, and I get this error in catalina.out :

Leaving aside that this is a josso app, can someone please help interpret what this error means, what is the cause of the problem (since I have added and edited those files mentioned), and how do I resolve this problem?

You have a NullPointerException in Josso, so it's not a Tomcat problem. The messages aren't totally clear, but it looks like Josso didn't completely start up and then failed when trying to shut down. So you might wat to look further in the Catalina.out logs. And since Josso is a Java Realm plugin (I think) also look in the Tomcat localhost logfile. Stuff that goes wrong before Tomcat has fully initialized itself shows up there.

If that doesn't help, check to see if Josso has some logging options you can switch on to get more information from Josso itself.
