Chapter 9 Question 12

Hi,

I have posted below  2 Screens (Question and Answer) and i don't understand why here G is not also the correct Answer, because in Paths class there is no getPath() method, only get.
Also i think the Answer should be A,F,G.
Thanks

Did they really change 1...7 to A...G?
Is there such a thing as the Paths#getPath() method?

YES, they did and NO there is not a thing such Paths.getPath() method.
But i think this is only a  bug or Oracle has removed this method)))

No, they haven't removed the method. Compare the Java7 documentation with the Java15 vesion I showed you earlier. There is a misprint in the question or its answer.

I believe that a Kindle screenshot which "helpfully" changes what we submitted (letters) to numbers.

In any case, this is a known errata and was originally reported in 2016. Page 500 lists:

#12 - Choice G should be Paths.get() rather than Paths.getPath(). If you chose Choice G as an answer give yourself credit.

I'm doing laundry! Look how clean this tiny ad is:
