Do you think during 2021 OCP (for Java 8) certificaction will be still available?

Hi guys. Last year I gave the OCA certification and during this year it was difficult for me to prepare the OCP but I'd like to have the goal of passing the OCP in 2021. I'd like OCP because I've already bought the books from Jeanne.

Thanks!

From Oracle:

Oracle Certification Program normally provides 90 days notice for the retirement of any certification exam.

I would purely speculate that to be on the safest side, you may want to set a goal for anytime before the next LTS (slated no earlier than Sept 2021).

I think it will be available in January, but not in December. I don't know when in between I think it will be retired though. (Which I realize isn't particular helpful.)

it's a teeny, tiny, wafer thin ad:
