I have the java se 8 programmer II book and was wondering if it was just as good as the se 11 II guide to study for the 819 exam?
Apart from the JPMS and introduction of var are there any things that might be covered on the exam and not on the programmer II OCP certification prep book?

thanks

Bobby,
The 809 (Java 8 book) is not going to be good to study for the 819. There are whole new topics (ex: modules, security). There are also new language features like private interface methods. And new methods like List.of().

There's lots of other additions/changes. That's why it took us so long to write the updated book for Java 11!
