When one posts a topic, sometimes it shows with a small yellow icon, sometimes without any color and sometimes it has a red coloured asterict symbol. What is the meaning of these different symbols?
Thanks.
Link. There is something not quite working correctly; I often find my own posts marked in yellow, when I think I have already read them. If I reopen the thread, the yellow disappears faster than with Pepsodent.

Thanks. It also shows that there are icons for "unresolvable topic". I wonder what an "unresolvable topic" is.

Probably where the OP thought it was resoled and a mod thought it wasn't.

Thanks. In which case does topics get converted into a 'Hot Topics"?
I don't think there's any "converting" going on. I think there's just a page which shows some threads which it deems to be "hot topics" at the current point in time. And I think there's an algorithm which decides which topics are "hot". At least that's how it seems to me. When you look at the "Hot Topics" page what do you notice about the threads that you see there?
