I created an EJB project in WSAD and when I started the server, I saw this error message:
addEjbModule failed for com.ibm.ejs.models.base.config.applicationserver.impl.EJBModuleRefImpl (desiredExecutionState: START) (uri: webaccountbean.jar)
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/netpub/library/NPIHash
IBM Software Technical Document says

this error is caused by placing the enterprise bean classes on the classpath of the application server. The WebSphere runtime, including the EJB base classes, is not visible to the JVM classloaders, which causes the NoClassDefFound error. To resolve this problem, remove the enterprise bean classes from the classpath of the application server.

What does it mean? Where do I find the classpath of the application server and remove the enterprise bean?
Thanks,
Jenny

Not sure about why you are getting the error but you can modify the classpath of the server by going to the Server perspective. In the server configuration window, doulble click on the server/config instance on which the EJB is running. Click on the paths tab and scroll down to the second window.
