I am currently studying to take the exam for the Oracle Certified Professional: Java SE 11 Developer. Consequently, I would like to work on a real-life software development project that builds production software using Java. I do best on an exam when I acquire hands-on experience. Furthermore, my goal is not simply to pass a certification exam, but to actually acquire the java knowledge, skills and experience that the industry is looking for, hence the desire to work on a real-life software development project that builds production software using Java. Does anyone have suggestions on such project ideas that I can either work on alone, on my own, or in collaboration with others? Thanks for your kind assistance.
