Can't create Heap Dumps in Visual VM without JMX

Hello Java friends,

is it possible dump heap with simple “jstatd “and without JMX or is it always needed to get heap dumps?
My Problem is I start jstatd on server and I can’t dump heap from the TestProcess from this server.


Is it not possible to get heap dump with"jstatd" from TestProccess.jar without the JMX arguments parameter?

Question is clarified.
advanced profiling is only possible with JMX arguement at start JVM java process (server side)
