The next thing is that your email address appears to use a custom domain, is that correct? Is there any chance that microsoft has had a chance to botch up your email along the way? In other words, is your email stuff managed by microsoft or is it managed by something good?
Thanks for looking into it. For some reason (?) it started back up an hour and a half ago. Yes it's my domain hosted through Bluehost.com which is *nix based. And, yes, the first thing I did was to check my spam folder and also sent myself email from another account. I had been getting other emails as well during the same period. Bottom line, it appears to be working again. thanks.
It's back! No longer getting email. Check spam and filter settings. No spam and filters haven't changed.
Also noted that when I go to "beginning java" list it shows a number of old posts in yellow. So I visit each individual one, then I go back to list and refresh it, and then they are no longer in yellow. Yet, an hour later I go back to the list and they're back in yellow and these are not posts that had been updated in the last hour.
Something is screwy on the Ranch side of things. It's getting to be impossible to be able to respond in a timely manner to a thread that I'm about to throw up my hands.
Don't know if this is a clue but last time it magically fixed itself I got a flood of Ranch emails back to back time stamped within a minute or two. Again, something that doesn't sound like a spam filter to me.
Yes, I got this notice. Somehow (?) Beginning Java from got removed from my watch list. I haven't looked at my watch list before so I didn't notice. So now I'm waiting to see if a notice comes through.
