Hi!
I am a newbie in Java programming. I'd want to attempt to pass the exam in the future.

Does the book contain tests for controlling parallel programming skills?

Yes, parallel streams is an objective on both the old and new exams.  It helps to study streams and concurrency before trying to understand parallel streams.  Good luck!

Correct. The basics of JDBC are on the exam. But it's not database specific and only the basics
