Xml value not updating

Hello,
facing a weird issue I am using data binding in view model. Now the issue which I am facing that while setting value of the field it get's set correctly but after updating the value it doesn't get's updated. so simply property is not getting updated.
average value is not getting updated .

   <TextView
                        android:layout_width="wrap_content"
                        android:layout_height="wrap_content"
                        android:text="@{viewModel.average}"/>
