I am very comfortable with IntelliJ IDEA however the build time for simple main method with just hello world print statement take about 1,5 - 2,5 second, whereas on eclipse it is just instate. for somebody how started to learn Java and make alot of changes/testing, instant compilation is a must. I want to ask if there is anyway to make IntelliJ fast like eclipse or it is possible to use eclipse compiler inside IntelliJ (I have tried the one that comes bundled with IntelliJ but still slow). Also I have changed the vm memory and many others settings in addition to disabling all plugins still no luck.
