Hello everyone,

I've just passed 1z0-819 with quite edge score (72%), had not too much time to prepare as exam had to be taken before 25th April (to pay only 25$ )
I've taken it from home and it was quite nice experience, although it's sometimes easier to have a pen/notepad to write down variables values for questions with nested loops asking to determine what final variable value will be
For preparation used book "Java OCP 11 Developer Complete Study Guide", that is written very well (probably most of you know it )
Practiced using Ethuware mock tests (which helped much to find weak areas and improve it)

Does anyone know whether 1z0-819 has expiration date (exam needs to be retaken to keep certification valid)?

On Oracle site it's saying that this certification is under Cloud Recertification Policy: https://education.oracle.com/certification-program-guidelines#2_8
Which says that:

Oracle Cloud Certification credentials are valid for a period of 18 months from the date you earn the credential.

So it looks like 1z0-819 is falling under this policy, although words Oracle Cloud Certification leads to think that it's related to Cloud certifications only...

Could anyone confirm it please?

Thank you

This is not applicable to Java Developer certification. Once you certified in Java 11 -- you certified forever.

Thank you, Mikalai, for answer
