CMP using Stored Procedures

Does WebSphere support CMP entity beans using stored procedures?

IMO, with CMP you are delegating implementtion process to the container. You are saying I don't care how you implement persistance, just do it.
With BMP you are saying I will implement persistance. I feel stored procedures are the path for my application.

...In other words, no. The WebSphere implementation uses PreparedStatements extensively, which gains some performance benefits over dynamic SQL where each statement is re-prepared each time, but it does not support stored procedures.

Some time back people thought they could get higher levels of performance by using BMP and custom coding. IIRC, CMP proved it was very capable of high performance with much less development.
I suppose it depends on the container vendor, but CMP is often faster.
