Aly Saleh & Murat Karslioglu,

Thank you for promoting this on JavaRanch.

I'm an experienced Java/JEE developer and wish to start learning about cloud technologies.  I believe learning Docker and Kubernetes would be the first step towards learning this new architecture.

Is that true?  What other non-specific cloud vendor technologies does one need to learn and how much do we need to know?  With this new architecture, I struggle with what should the developer know vs what should the infrastructure team should know.

Thank you,
Steven

Just looked into sample chapters and looks good start from Kubernetes architecture. But having doubts on security in k8s. Production env. Always critical for security and security also depends on os , so how can we make sure host nodes and containers are up to date on security?
