I am trying to my migrate my application to JAVA 8 and JBoss 7.1.

I created ear file using maven in java 8 and trying to deploy the ear file JBoss 7.1 server.

I am getting the error "WFLYWS0058: JAX-RPC not supported".

i tried adding missing jar saaj.jar to the lib folder in ear but it did not work.

Can you please help to provide information what are the missing jars required to get rod of the exception.

Please find the attached image for the full exception log.

Apparently WildFly cannot operate as a JAX-RPC host in recent versions. It seems to be a feature that has been removed from the product.

You may have to check with IBM Red Hat for a solution to this problem.

JAX-RPC got deprecated a while ago, and has now been removed (or will be removed) from probably all Jakarta EE servers. I advise to migrate to a more recent API like JAX-WS.

Aside from that, SAAJ is not JAX-RPC (although JAX-RPC builds on top of it, as does JAX-WS). But even adding the JAX-RPC jar files would not work, as that just makes the classes available to the web apps - it still needs to be supported by the server which -as you have found out- it is not.
