CMP Inheritance problem in WAS 5.1  RSS feed

Hello Everybody,
I am using inheritance in my CMP ejbs and using root-leaf inheritance, not single-table inheritance. I have a simple case, where I want to delete a
leaf entity of inheritance hierarchy. WAS does not let me delete the entity
giving an integrity violation error, saying child exists. The database constraint the error gives, is between the leaf entity and root. Now if I was deleting the root while leaf exits, I would understand the the error but I am deleting the leaf for which no child exists. Going thru debug I guess WAS is trying to delete the root entity even when I am deleting the leaf entity.
Has anybody else faced this problem or has some suggestions?
I am using WAS5.1/WSAD 5.1.1/Oracle9i/Windows XP/Top down mapping.

Thanks in advance
No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better. This time, do it with this tiny ad:
