Hey, thanks for the kind words @Marco! I've been rather enamored by Git for a long time now, so if someone wants to talk Git, DevOps, Release engineering, containers, versioning, feedback loops, monitoring, eventing—well let's just say I won't shut up

I frankly don't know anything about RTC, had never heard of it before.

Hi  Marco Behler,

Thanks for writing this book. I am sure it will help many learners. May I check what version of the git this book is based on?
Will this book briefly touch on basic fundamental git features (such as dealing with branch and git initialization) ? Or it will assume that reader knows all these basic?

Likewise, although I did a quick check and a rough guess: https://coderanch.com/t/750416/ide/Difference-RTC-GIT

My days of working at large soulless corporations are over, so I myself don't expect to work with products like RTC anymore.
