hi guys,
I started to learn portal.I want to install portal on mysystem.
I have following ready
WindowsXP professional P4 2.4GHz processor
120GB hard disk
512MB ram
so what all I have to download to install and run portalV5.0 on my machine.I downloaded WSADv5.0 and portal toolkit V5.0.
Do I need to download more fix's or r these enough

hi,
you can also download WSAD 5.0 for creating the portlets using the IDE.
then you can start working on the same. all the fixes are not required to start with the portal. since you will only be using the basics of the portal.

If I were you I would buy more RAM. 512 is barely enough to run WSAD -- once you add the portal toolkit and start up a test portal server you'll be really hurting...
