RAM required for WS Portal Server?

Hi,
I am preparing my machine to for installing "WS Portal Express for Multiplatforms". Currently my RAM is 512 MB. But herethey says, 1025 MB or more. Now what to do? Shall I increase my RAM to 1024 MB or?? Kindly guide me as I am newbiew to IBM WebSphere platform.

You need at least a gig. Buy the extra memory.
