My requirement is when i execute a batch file, it should stop a particular instance on the Websphere application server, update the config xml present in the application and then restart the particular server instance.
Can anyone tell me what are the commands in windows to start and stop particular instance on the Websphere application server. I am able to update the config file using java/xml.
I don't want to stop the whole application server such that all the applications running on it are down. I have to bring only one application down and then after udpating the config file in that application i have to bring that application up.

Thanks in advance
