Dear all,

By default, the URL of the web applications is in the form of <a href="http://<machine rel="nofollow">:9080/<apps_name>." target="_blank">http://<machine>:9080/<apps_name>. How can I enable the setting in that the user is only required to type <a href="http://<machine rel="nofollow">/<apps_name>" target="_blank">http://<machine>/<apps_name>; in order to access <a href="http://<machine rel="nofollow">:9080/<apps_name>" target="_blank">http://<machine>:9080/<apps_name>;

Thanks!!!

Joe

Use the web server for that task. Configure it through websphere http plugin.

You could also set the Port of your Virtual Host to 80 so that you do not have to specify a port number on your URL.

To Update the Port of your Virtaul Host, go to the Administrative Console:
Environment -> Virtual Hosts -> (server name) -> General Properties -> Port

Hope that helps!
