Here is another excerpt from the Wood Oven movie. I'm pretty sure I am repeating myself over and over: I think it's absolutely great when we can reuse and repurpose items that otherwise would be thrown away.

We tend to have this idea that "throwing away" stuff that we no longer need is making them disappear: out of sight, out of mind.

But in reality, there is no "away". The landfills of the world are growing at a pace that is mind boggling. We're producing 1.3 billions of waste each year, globally, and this number is increasing. The garbage leaves our homes and is transported to a landfill, where it's being stored for eternity.

As soon as weather gets warmer, I am building myself a Rocket-powered wood oven!
