For AWS VPC, can only EC2 be placed on subnets or other AWS resources too?

AWS VPC has subnets for grouping resources on VPC. EC2 nodes be placed on VPC subnet. What about other AWS resources like Glue, S3 etc ? Thanks

S3 is not within the VPC but is communicated with through a VPC endpoint.
With a little knowledge, a
cast iron skillet
