Hi,

I have a requirement where I want to execute some job every 1 hr. My application is a web project deployed in websphere App server (5.1).

1) Is there a way I can schedule a recurring job in websphere? Please enlighten.

2) Websphere documentation provided by websphere says that scheduler service can do a recurring job. But I am unable to see Scheduler service in admin console. As per documentation Scheduler service should be available Under Resources, but it is not available. Please help to get this.

What version of WebSphere are you using?

Scheduler is provided in WAS 5 Enterprise Edition, WBI SF 5.1. It is also part of the Base App Server in version 6 and above.
