Problem while Installing Patch for webspere5.1..!!

Hi All,

Could you please let me know a step by step guide to install pacth for the WebSphere 5.1.

My patch zip file name is was510_cf5_win.zip. After unzipping it i can see many folders along with 2 batch files name

1.) updateWizard.bat
2.)updateSilent.bat

on running any of the batch files nothing happen.Can anybody throw some light on it if possible as it is very urgent.

Turn of virusscan software during patch installation. I've noticed this can seriously slow down or break patch installation. As for the specific patch installation, check the release notes of the patch or consult online references for that specific patch. Do you have the WAS_HOME variable set so that the patches know where to run?
