IBM is promoting Web Sphere on zSeries. Has any one used in real time products? What are the advantages, disadvantages? Most of the application that uses old data - since 80s - sitting on mainframe is accessed through CTG gateway and WebSphere on Unix. How this architecture will change with zSeries and how much companies can save from this move? I am looking forward to get real time quantitative answers how much it is worth to migrate application from Unix environment to zSeries.

Thanks!!
