Hi all,
I want to have a connectivity from WAS6.0 to a filenet server for image services. I have ISRA.jar with me.
Could anybody please suggest me how do I go about?
Do I have to create a Connector project and export my RAR file and then configure my WAS server to add this RAR?
Any comments if somebody has already done it?

Thanks
Sanjay

Hi
I dont know how much my reply is going to help you.but some time back I was struggling with the similar thing. I wanted to have a connectivity between Web sphere and Hyperion server .
I add the Hyperion jars to the class path , lib folder.
And used to Hyperion API to connect to the Hyperion server through the java code .
Find if there is any API provided by the file net which will accept parameter like the filenet Domain name, port number and the logging credentials (User name password )

You can go admin console, login if you have created a profile (you must do this) to start with.

Select Resource Adapter from the left panel, then install the RAR file.
Notice it is isra.rar not isra.jar!

Then click on the ISRA (the resource you just created) choose J2CConnectionProperty to create it jndi.

For the code perspective, you acquire the connection by looking up JNDI. I am working on that, too. We may share the process together.
