The branch of AI that focuses on creating entirely new content is rapidly evolving (e.g. every version of Midjourney is exponentially better than previous).
What are your thoughts on the future of generative AI and its potential impact on society? I already see some impact on the Art industry...

It's a really complex question to answer. My own opinion is that generative AI will cause a number of low-level skill jobs to definitely fade away; problem is, I think it won't be true that it will create new jobs,at least not as many as it's going to replace. For this reason, I strongly believe that before going further, it would be wise to really investigate social and economic impact.
Just for sake of discussion: a couple of weeks ago, I attended to a scraping surface level conference on Generative AI - I was one of the speakers. When the conference was over, a guy approached me to understand if Gen AI "would help him to lay off his secretaries". Don't remember what the business was, but nevertheless we were talking about replacing three secretaries with a chatbot - three persons that would need to search for another job.
Pretty easy to guess that a countless number of employers are reasoning the very same way out there......
