I maintain a todos list for office work items. I know we have user stories and there we have all details in it and its tasks but overall for everything like some random tasks etc and for more flexibility. I like to maintain a todos list in notepad++ for the items which I need to do for the day and week. I know that this is dynamic and can keep changing as per the demands in agile. My goal is to try and make sure that each of the items for yesterday was done, or moved to the next day based on priority changes etc. In notepad ++ we do not have a strike out feature but instead have styles which help change the color for font which I use to indicate whether done or still pending.  This becomes very clumsy and chances that I may miss out something by forgetting. Is there a better way of maintaining a todo list where I can strike out the items completed so that I can make sure nothing is missed (unless consciously moved to next day). Can excel be a better tool than notepad++ for maintaining this, since it gives a way to strike out the items already done? Thanks

Tick check! Okay, I guess that was just an itch. Oh wait! Just a tiny ad:
