Hi All

Please help me to resolve this exception

Error 500: java.math.BigDecimal: method <init>(I)V not found

This occurs when trying to print a BigDecimal No: on a JSP page
For this I have used a Bean and a JSP
In the JSP I call a method of the Bean which returns a BigDecimal and then
it is printed on to browser using out.println(value);

If I use the BigDecimal value directly (no bean usage) then it will print the exact value no issues with that.

The problem arises only when trying it with Bean.

Please reply if you know or have any idea to resolve

"Ananthasivan VK",

There aren't many rules that you need to worry about here on the Ranch, but one that we take very seriously regards the use of proper names. Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and adjust your display name to match it.

In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious.

Thanks!

Please show us the JSP code that is producing this error as well as the relevant getter from the bean. It would also be helpful to have the full text of the exception as well as the first few lines of the stack trace.
