I don't know if this is some temporary issue with Oracle website, but I'm not able to buy a Java 21 Certification exam for some reason.

I go to the certification page: https://mylearn.oracle.com/ou/exam/java-se-21-developer-professional-1z0-830/40805/139080/220555
sign in, click "Buy Exam"
and it just open an empty new tab, and nothing happens.

I tried doing it on Mac/Windows/iOS, tried using different browsers (Chrome, Safari, Opera) to no avail.
I also tried disabling Ad Blocker, doing it in an Incognito session and it still doesn't work.

Funnily enough, when I scrolled down on that page, and clicked on "Contact Oracle Certification Support", it goes to "404: Page not found" page.

Is it working for anyone else?

This is how it looks for me

Turn on DEV tools in browser, select Network tab and check which URL blocked

Try to use VPN, for quick check, even there are free addons to browser

OK, but what happens when you actually click on "Buy Exam"? For me it just opens a new blank tab and nothing happens.

I checked with Developer Tools and I don't see any blocked URLs. At least not in the current tab.

I asked a coworker to check as well, and they're experiencing the same issue.

Same for me -- blank screen and nothing else, I would assume they have maintenance on weekend

It's not just the weekend, it's been like this the whole week...

Thanks for confirming.

The reality is -- nowadays to pass Java exam you need not only knowledge, but luck, persistence, suitable phase of the Moon, and much more.

Haha, 100%

Interestingly enough, if you click "Buy Exam" on Java 17 page, it leads you to this generic page: https://www.oracle.com/ca-en/education/training/buy/

From there you can buy an "Oracle Technology Exam Subscription", which, if you click on "View Included Exams" shows Java 21 as an option.

Not sure if I can buy it from there. I guess I'll just wait a few months before I'm actually ready to take the exam, and hopefully they'll fix it.
