IBM.RAD v6 => IBM.DB2 v9

hi all,

i'm a junior programmer with 2 years in .NET language, now moved into java for 8 months, and never done any application at all.

installed RAD v6, with [IBM DB2� Express-C 9].

error meet:
force to create new db connection by choosing [Express V8.2] to connect to IBM DB2� Express-C 9, then i got this error while testing connection.

"Connection to SAMPLE failed. IWAS0126E Problems encountered while trying to establish connection Con1. Reason: 'unknown'"


have a list of questions which to let me continue my development learning. (preparing with IBM TEST 255)
1. where to get db2 express v8.2 installer since rad v6 just only have selection of db2 express v8.2? (due to IBM no longer available to download db2 express v8.2)

from ibm:
DB2 8.x downloads
DB2 Express-C 8.x downloads are no longer available for download. We encourage you to move up to DB2 9.

2. if continue to use db2 express-c v9, what should i do in order to have selection of Express v9.x during create new database connection?

Upgrade to RAD 7.

thanks for response, is there any other way to solove this problem?
i'm preparing for ibm test 255, took once before, but failed.

hope to hear any solution for rad v6.
