Hi all,
Can anyone leverage their expertise on how to take a heap dump in WAS 6.0 on Solaris 8.
Would be greatly appreciated.

If there is a dump, it will be dumped under the installation folders right under AppServer. You will have Heap dumps and Java Dumps shown here. You can use the free Dump Analyzer for both Java and Heap dumps written by an IBM associate.

Dumps are hard to decipher. The mentioned tools are good, but if you can figure out what's going wrong before you dig into the dump, life will be easier.
