I am very glad to see this forum, but I am still wondering what this forum is all about and who will be the moderator as no description is given for this forum. Anyway I am preparing for OCP-DBA and hope this forum might help me doing that. Can somebody know about any discussion forum like Javaranch for OCP. Can somebody advise me the books and any particular strategy to follow. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Dear Farooq, nice to hear that u r interested in OCP-DBA. I have some ideas on that 4 u....
First be sure that the BPB books 4 OCP-DBA is the best one ever available (something like Khalid Mughal)....then the STS is the best resource to test like JQ+/J@Whiz 4 SCJP....
The first exam PL/SQL is very easy....start with that....

Thanks Ashik for your valuable input, I have already bought a set of three books from Sybex title OCP-DBA preparation kit, seems to be very good so far, can u give me the name and author of the books u mentioned in ur post. Does STS means selftest software, can u arrange that for me, u always help me in that regard.

You can access some practice questions of Self-Test Software (STS) for free at the Oracle Education Site.I suggest you do not spend money on Practice Tests.Oracle Exams are very easy.Books available at your local book stores should see you through with high scores.Good Luck!

I am with Ashik on the way to prepare for Oracle tests.
