Certification ..doubt!

Hi All,
I would like to go for Oracle Dev certification. But I found that, out of the 5 exams, some are related to Developer 2000. I am imterested in taking PL/SQL test. If I clear this, will I get some (intermediate) certification? Are all 5 exams mandatory to be eligible for certification..?

Hi,
I was planed for Oracle Dev certification before, but I'm change plan now.
I have financial experience so is good for take Dev certification. but 5 exam will take more time.
so, I change plan, only take one Oracle PL/SQL and SAP R/3 ABAP/4 certification later. Plus I already have SCJP certification.
This just my plan but you can think about?

Hi Binu, you will not get any certificate just by giving the SQL exam. If you are going for Oraclr9i DBA certification, you can get the status and certification of Oracle9i Certified Database Associate by giving two exams:
Exam 1
Introduction to Oracle9i: SQL
Exam number: 1Z1-007
Exam 2
Oracle9i Database: Fundamentals I
Exam number: 1Z1-031
