..feel that this forum should be rename to 'Oracle 9iAS', which is much different from the earlier 'OAS' , whihc is kind of depracated by Oracle as of today ....

This forum is about Oracle as a whole, and it's Application Server (OAS) whether it is 9ias or an older version, it is still an application server.

Apologises if any offence has been taken. So as not to digress from the subject matter of this thread I am about to start a new thread re: 9i Oracle PE and database startup passwords.
My apologises yet again, in my eagerness to really get stuck into Oracle I seemed have forgotten my manners!
