Hi All,
I am new to OCP and decided to do my OCP-DBA 9i track few weeks back. I have just come to know that Oracle has introduced a new Hands-On Course requirement for those looking to become Oracle Certified Professionals (OCPs).
Following are my queries :
1) Is there any way to do my OCP 9i track without doing any hands-on courses?
2) What If I give my first paper on 8i track i.e. Introduction to SQL and PL/SQL (1Z0-001) and then remaining 3 on 9i track?
3) Is OCA exempted from prior hands-on courses? What if I prepare for OCA? If I decide later to complete my OCP, Would I need to complete hands-on training first?
4) I live in Pakistan and I couldn't find any authorized oracle education centre or partner in Pakistan on oracle website....so sad.... wait...may be Pakistanis are exempted from prior training requirements...right?
Please help me as I was so motivated few weeks back and almost completed the first paper preparation before I heard this sad news.
Thanks and Regards

First do 8i and then upgrade to 9i, thas how you can avoid the requirement

you can do that but it will not exempt you from the course requirement.

I dont have any idea abt this, its infact a nice question.
