it seems there is a little mess in here about the current value of the counter...

However let me say that

counter = counter - 1

as I received this morning the 1% email :-)

Congratulations Viggo & other folks for clearing exam.
I was on vacation & just checked email. I also got much awaited email on 19th Dec. :)

My score is 134/160.

I guess I am the longest waiting person here!

I appeared for part 3 on 25 Aug and i am still waiting for the results since 20 weeks!

I see most of the people who appeared even in Sept. got their results already, i thought it should be first come first serve, i guess not!
Is there anyone who appeared before 25th Aug and still waiting?

You are not alone! I am waiting since your date: on 25 August I have completed my essay exam and I am still waiting since 20 weeks!
I wrote to Oracle and they have escaled my issue. They asked me to wait one more week!
I don't like the way Oracle have managed the exam and the queue order. There is not a real order and any information about that.
They are not clear about when I will obtain my result.
The waiting is always very stressing but for this exam it is too stressing.
Anyway I hope that it will finish in a good way.

Step 1: 9 Sep
Setp 2: Submit 25 Sep
Step 3: 27 Sep

Fail result: 18 Dec (124/160 pts and obtuse reasons to fail me, which I will write about later)
Resubmission: 2 Jan
Pass result: 12 Jan

Even though I passed in resubmission, I got today (16/1) the pass e-mail from Oracle. That was nice, at least.

I thought exam results were given within seconds after finishing the test - at lease that is the way Sun did it!

No, for both SCJD and SCEA exams, Sun would have the assignment sent to an assessor along with the results of the exam. At that point Sun stated that most exams would be graded within 6 weeks. There were some assignments that took longer.

I don't know.

It seems that those who were doing the certification during the transition period had really long waits. But I've seen some people with more reasonable timeframes since then. Perhaps it's a little early to say.

I got my SCEA part 2 and part 3 result in 2 weeks from the date of my part 3 exam.

i got my SCEA results within 3.5 weeks from the day of submission during Feb/Mar 2011.
One of my friend got it with 2.5 weeks also.
