Hi guys I have a little confusion about the oracle certification.
Which of the following is best for a JAva Developer?
1)Oracle9i PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate
which includes 007 and 147(not yet released)
2)Oracle9i Database Administrator Certified Associate
which has 007 and 031
Thank You all.

Well I think you answered your own question. What is best for a Java "Developer". I think that would lead you down the Oracle developer line. Now I also will say the developer takes you also down the path of Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports, which while it can use some Java code, isn't Java.
The DBA is for those who want to work on the Architecture and Administration, Backup and Recovery, Networking, and Database Tuning. Not really stuff that a developer cares about.
So now from those two descriptions, does that help you amke your decision?
