Hi,
I'm in the market for two books: a data modeling book and a book that goes into writing Oracle database triggers, functions, and procedures. Anyone want to nominate their favorite book in either of these areas? Or is there a single book that covers both areas well?
Thanks,

Hey John, is there anything in the Bunk house?
I will go check.
As far as books go on Oracle, even though it doesn't cover what you are asking for, you should always have Thomas Kytes' "Expert One on One" by wrox book. It is the bible for developers.

Mark,
I looked at the Bunkhouse and Amazon and O'reilly and was still a bit unsure. So I thought I'd try to get reccos from the folks here to go along with the info I found at those spots.

Thomas Kyte is always mentioned (I have it also).
You might want to check out

As far as datamodeling is concerned, you can bet your life that it's been done before. workflow, supply chain, oltp, knowledge systems, data warehouse etc.. so you might want to search around for a more specific book.
You should also take a look at the oracle .pdfs

Generally less mistakes than most textbooks
