I have a date field, fieldA in TableA of my Oracle DB. How do i query this table to
retrieve records with dates(i.e. fieldA ) 30minutes less than
the SysDate(i.e. current date-time).All ideas are welcomed.

select * from foo where fieldA < (sysdate - 0.02083);
(that is oracle specific, db2 works in seconds? AFAIK)
