db2 on OS390 clob problem

There is a issue we are facing with CLOB data.
See the input and output data we are getting (using clob).
The output string had to be the same as input string..right?? (i.e with '\n'). But somehow this is not getting recognised.
Can anyone tell if there is any setting that we have to do or is this a known issue.
INPUT STRING (this is what we are saving)
