Iam confused as such to do certification in oracle 8I or oracle9i.Is it better to do certification in oracle8i or 9i considering career wise.
For career wise, of course,
you should work with latest stuffs. In this case, I recommended 9i.
In money and certification wise, I recommend 8i first, and then upgrade to 9i as well as 10g. It is becos, Oracle announced that, if you took exams after Aug 30, 2002, you *MUST* take an Oracle Certified Training course. Otherwise, even you pass all 4 papers, you will NOT receive the certificate, and you are NOT regonzied by Oracle that you are Oracle9i DBA.
