Hi all,
I just took the 1z1-036 exam today, and I would like to share some experiences with you. It is the most difficult exam I had come across.
If you are going to take it, pls noticed that:
1. You have only 3 hours to complete 155 questions. There are 166 questions in total, however, in question 1, if you choose option A, you will get the question set: questions 2 to 11 and 22 to 166. If you choose B in question 1, you will get the question set: questions 12 to 21 and 22 to 166. The difference is only the first 10 questions, the rest are the same!
2. Fully understand all Linux Kernal parameters, many questions regarded with them.
3. Know most Linux commands, and their usages and options. About 40 questions regarding them.
4. There are only a few questions regarding Oracle, most of them are Linux-related questions.
5. You must know how to create DBs from scripts, and what options can you have, if you use DBCA.
6. Understand all types of DB templates, and know what situation should use which template.
7. You must know how to use OEM and OCM, there are around 30 questions about these 2 utilities.
Good luck.
Nick
