Dear All,
This problem is troubling me for the past 1 month. I am completely unable to proceed.
I want my Oracle 9i AS to run on Linux Box.
I have linuk 8.0 and Oracle 9.0.3 AS (
J2EE & Webcache Disk1 alone). The first time when I tried to install 9.0.3, at the linking time I got an error saying
"Error in invoking ins_sqlplus.mk". I ignored this error and at last stopped the installation of all components.
Now I retried the installation , but , I got an error message saying that EMCTL in the oracle home must be stopped before proceeding. But there is no such directory or any not EMCTL service is running anywhere . Thus I could not proceed with the installation , I'm terribly stuck here..How am I to proceed?
