9.2 R2 Installation Issue on Windows XP
I am trying to install Oracle Infrastructure on desktop connected with network hub(on local network) running on Windows XP SP1 with 512MB RAM and 30 GB disk space.
During installation in the 'configure database assistant' installation fails to create infra repository (i.e iasdb) with error message 'invalid hostname...'.
I looked into the hosts file and there is a valid entry with spaces only with IP address hostname and aliase. Cannot figure out what could be the reason.
As rest of the installation installs EM, web servers,
j2ee containers webcache etc.
