Hi frnds,

I want to develop reports and provide facilities like scheduling, alerts, conversion in diff. formats, Ad-hoc queries, personalisation etc..etc.. in my web-based application with d/w wareshousing. Now, to fulfill these requirements platform has been chosen Java/J2EE and Oracle 9i/9i AS and IDS.

My problem is :

1)
Using GUI of 9i Reports, I can create reports. But without using that how can I create reports? I mean, can I access all functionalities using PL-SQL built-in packages? If yes, then how can I integrate it with Java and deliver the report on client request?

2)
how Forms will help to give solutions?

3)I want to set up development environment using Java/J2EE, Oracle 9iAS, Oracle Warehouse Builder etc..etc..Such type of specifications, can anybody points me on specific links..??

Thanks...
