Hi All,
I just cleared the first ocp exam(sql & pl/sql) yesterday (scored 97%). one down and four more to go ).. I know that i can take the other 4 exams in any order..but, since i have only about 3 weeks to prepare for every exam,i would like to clear the easy ones first..some people say that network administration is easy among the other 4 and tuning should be the last. I am debating whether to take Architecture & Admin or Network Admin next..
Can someone help me?
Thanks a lot
Chitts.

My vote is that backup & recovery is easiest, network next, then Arch & Admin, the pl/sql,sql, and intro dba (unless you're an oracle programmer as opposed to DBA), then tuning. I am certified in both 8i and 9i so I took upgrade for 9i. A lot of new stuff to learn but that was over a year ago. Now there is 10g!

Do you have hands on DBA experience? I did when I began studying to be certified but I hear many will just sit down for a month and bang out all the tests without experience. Of course, most cannot succeed at that. I passed all on first try but I made sure I overstudied so I wouldn't waste $$$ and I prided myself on not coming close to not passing.

Good luck, from your first score it sounds like you won't need it!
